Digital interventions for depression and anxiety

We design, implement, and evaluate internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy (iCBT) programs to expand access to evidence-based mental health treatments. Delivering therapy online not only helps overcome barriers such as distance, stigma, or limited availability of trained clinicians but also ensures standardized delivery of interventions. This format allows us to reach a broader and more diverse population while maintaining high quality and fidelity in treatment.
At the same time, the digital setting provides a unique opportunity to study which interventions work best for which individuals. By combining clinical and neurobiological data, we investigate predictors of treatment response and aim to personalize therapies accordingly. Current projects include randomized clinical trials in obsessive鈥揷ompulsive disorder as well as the development of a program tailored to the specific needs of university students and researchers, bridging clinical innovation with real-world impact.
